Dear Friends and Supporters, Thank you for reviewing the Catholic Social Services' 2025 Annual Report. As I reflect on my first full year as Executive Director, I am filled with gratitude by the support and generosity of our community and inspired by the incredible work we continue to accomplish together in service to our community.
As we begin summer and approach the longest days of the year, the Church reminds us of the light which makes all things visible, the Heart of Jesus. In this same vein, Pope Leo XIV has invited us to join him in his monthly prayer intention "that each one of us might find consolation in a personal relationship with Jesus, and from His Heart, learn to have compassion on the world."
Catholic Social Services is honored to be featured in a recent story by KOTA TV, highlighting our commitment to promoting human dignity and strengthening families in South Dakota.
“We believe that investing in people—through education, support, and compassion—creates stronger families and a more resilient community.”
As we enter this beautiful season of Advent and approach Christmas, I want to take a moment to reflect on the profound meaning it holds for all of us and those we serve at Catholic Social Services. This time of year calls us to prepare our hearts and minds for the coming of Christ, inviting us to contemplate the Truth that He embodies. While the world around us may be bustling with commercialism, let us focus on what truly matters: love, compassion, and connection.
